Privacy policy · Last updated September 19, 2026
Your photos stay yours.
PicDecide is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what the app can access and what it does with that access.
Photo access
PicDecide asks for access to the photos you choose through Apple Photos so it can display them for review and request removal of photos you explicitly set aside. Photos are not uploaded to PicDecide-operated servers. You can change photo access at any time in iOS Settings.
PicDecide reads photo dates and Apple Photos album membership only to let you choose a month or year, album, screenshot collection, and display order. This processing happens on your device.
Removal and recovery
Swiping a photo left or choosing the remove action asks PhotoKit to prepare that photo for removal. Apple Photos presents its system confirmation before applying the change. Removed photos follow the recovery and retention behavior provided by Apple Photos.
Local progress
To let you continue where you stopped, PicDecide stores Apple Photos identifiers for reviewed items and photos you set aside for removal in protected local app storage. It does not store copies of your photos, is excluded from device backup, and is never transmitted. You can clear this progress with Reset Progress in the app.
Changes to this policy
If PicDecide’s data practices change, this page will be updated before the change takes effect. The “Last updated” date above identifies the current version.
